Tests Tab

Tests need to be conducted to verify that requirements are satisfied and risks are mitigated. The Tests tab captures planned tests cases into the database. It also builds a database of results of planned testing

The Tests tab defaults to a split view with a navigation pane and a content panel. The navigation pane shows a list of projects for the platform selected in Portfolio tab. Group/Ungroup and Expansion buttons (arrow head) to the left of the Title column is used select any project. Ungroup the continuation chain if the project is continued by clicking on the + button. Click the horizontal arrow to expand the tree and show next level of the project. Click the down arrow to collapse the tree and hide the corresponding level of detail.

Select any project to show the tests for the project in the content pane. In the content pane. If nav panel is blank, or does not show your project, turn the nav panel carousel to the left to Architecture nav panel and select a platform. Switch the nav panel back to Portfolio and select project. Or click Portfolio Tab; select a platform in the portfolio nav panel and click requirements tab again.

To review test cases for a particular requirement or risk, turn the nav panel carousel to the right. Then select a particular requirement or risk.

Across the top of the screen are a series of toolbar buttons. Buttons of Tests toolbar are described here. Some of the buttons have a down arrow button to the right. Clicking on the down arrow displays additional functionality related to the shown button. Click on a button name (below) to view details about toolbars in each group.
