Cut / Copy / Paste / Paste Special Requirement
A requirement can be copied or cut and pasted to make copies or to move it across projects. Paste button makes a copy of the requirement itself. Use the Paste Special button to make copies of its risks, tests and tasks.
- To copy a requirement, select it and click Copy
- To access the copy button click the down arrow next to the edit button
- To move the requirement, use the same process, but click Cut instead
- Next select the project in which you would like to paste the requirement and click Paste . If you would like paste the requirement along with all its risks, tests and tasks, click the Paste Special button.
- To access the paste or paste special buttons, click the down arrow next to the edit button.
InspiRD App makes a log entry in the copied, pasted elements and their parent item indicating that the operation, by whom, and when. Email notifications are sent to the owner of the project (if enabled). All changes are automatically propagated to link adjunct copies and appropriate log entries are made.
