Add Child Skill-set
Add child skill-set button allows generation of a three-level org structure. These three levels simplify management of large teams. Please note that the InspiRD App limits the org structure to exactly three levels. Teams can only be built at the third level of the org structure.
To add a child skill-set, select a parent skillset and click the add child button . On button click, a dialog box will be displayed. Please provide the following inputs:
- Title is used to identify platforms throughout InspiRD Suite. Please limit the title to less than 40 characters if possible. However, please be detailed enough to make sure that the platform is clearly identified regardless of use (especially within different hierarchies).
- Description provides more details about the platform. Please be as descriptive as possible and communicate the use the platform clearly. Once the platform has been added, you may attach documents with more detailed information, graphics, etc. To do this, edit the project and go to the Attachment tab to upload files.
- Additional fields may be requested based on your organization’s configuration.
Required fields are marked with an asterisk *. The add button will not be enabled until all required fields are filled.
At the bottom of the Add dialog box, an Owner sub-panel is available. Use this sub-panel to assign ownership of the new element to another user.
Add child button will be disabled if:
- You have not selected a parent skill-set
- You have selected a Level 3 skill-set
Hovering the mouse button on the Add Child button will show a tool tip indicating the reason for disabling the button.
